I am Dawid Dobros from Poland, 46 years young and currently living in Haarlem
I joined N2 People in June 2016 and work as a bus and truck mechanic.
I came to the Netherlands to work as a Logistics employee, which at that time earned more than a mechanic. Through another employment agency, I had also previously worked in meat processing. In Poland, I worked most of the time as a car mechanic. Through Niedza, I ended up at N2People, a kind of Indeed. Fekke from N2 People tested me as a car mechanic and then I started at Van Mossel in Hapert. In total, through N2People, I worked at 10 different companies until I started at Iveco Schouten in Amsterdam. I have been working here for more than six years now. As I kept changing companies, I also moved frequently. I started in this garage as a damage repairer, but now I am a car mechanic. That's what I am and also what I like best! But I am also not afraid to tackle other jobs in the garage sometimes, after all, the work has to be done.
I am in touch with N2 People through my Jobcoach, but I am so independent and settled now that I arrange most of it with the garage where I work.
