Introduction
It all started when I made a post on a Polish platform saying that I was looking for a job. I started with N2 People as a flex worker. First I worked for 3 days in a fish company which I didn’t really like, I’m a vegetarian so for me to work in such an environment wasn’t morally right. I communicated this with my coordinator who quickly found me another job in Jan Linders as an order picker. The manager at Jan Linders told my coordinator that I probably wouldn’t be able to hit my targets because I’m short and skinny but my coordinator let me start anyways. After one month I was at the top of the list in productivity, so I feel like I really proved my worth in that time. I worked for over a year as an order picker, while also picking up any other tasks that came up. I trained new employees and I functioned as a translator quite often. After working for over a year as an order picker I was promoted to team leader. I was always responsible for the afternoon shift where I gave guidance to quite a large team of employees. During this time I learned a variety of things, from managing a team to learning how to drive a ride-on floor scrubber.
Promotion
After the job of team leader for a year, I was offered a promotion to coordinator. My very first client was obviously Jan Linders. There were 60 people working for Jan Linders from N2 People. Besides Jan Linders I received more clients. At the height I was coordinating over 130 employees in 5 different companies. Although the job of coordinator suited me well, after 2 years of doing this job I wanted to change something.
A new function
With the rapid growth of the company, new opportunities arose. A new function was proposed for our office, namely the position of back office employee. I wanted to give it a try and applied for this position. It's been two years since I started working in this function and since then I’ve learned a lot. I want to continue to develop myself.
N2 People
The thing I like about N2 People is that I can just be myself. It’s a good job in a nice atmosphere. I really feel like I’m at home when I’m at the office. It almost feels like being with family. I’m very fond of N2 People.
The future
For me personally I would like to grow and evolve within my role, learn all there is to know about employee administration. My goal is to get better at the different systems that N2 People uses. Being able to support my colleagues and achieve the small goals every day that make the way to the big ones.
