About the job and the company
As a Service Technician, you will work together with a colleague to install, replace, and maintain conveyor belts and complete transport systems. Your work takes place on-site at a wide range of customer locations — from industrial facilities and amusement parks to ships and sand extraction sites.
You will begin with a 12‑week internal training program at the location in Horst. After completing the training, you will work independently for customers within an approximate radius of 50 km from your assigned base location. The work is diverse, physically demanding, and often performed at heights or in challenging environments. Additionally, you will be on standby duty once every 8 weeks for emergency service calls outside regular working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and replacing rubber and synthetic conveyor belts.
- Performing maintenance and repairs on transport systems.
- Working on-site at various customer locations, including industrial sites, amusement parks, ships, and sand extraction areas.
- Troubleshooting and vulcanizing belts.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians and communicating with customers on-site.
- Following a 12‑week internal training program.
Candidate Profile
- Technical insight and a hands-on mentality.
- Willingness to learn, including internal training and on‑the‑job coaching.
- Good command of English and willingness to start Dutch lessons.
- A team player who enjoys working closely with a colleague.
- Flexibility regarding working hours and locations, including 24/7 service availability.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
- Driver’s license recommended.
- Optional but beneficial: experience with conveyor belt systems or vulcanization.

- Hourly gross salary: €18.21
- Workhours: Day shift (Mon–Fri; 07:30–16:30)
