A new face at the helm of N2 People: Bas Joosten. He has been the operational director of the staffing organization since March, after founder Eric Nabuurs fully focused on the holding MENS Group. Bas continues on the path laid out, with his own touch. “What remains is that the employees at N2 People are central, with an emphasis on respect, development, and fun.”

Good guidance is essential

Bas is certainly not a new face at N2 People. He started ten years ago in the Planning department. Over the years, Bas has developed through various commercial roles at N2 People, which has now grown to 55 people at the office in Uden and around 600 international employees ‘on the floor’. “Our employees leave their homes to come work here. Therefore, we have the responsibility to ensure they have the best experience possible. It starts with the right job and good housing, and guidance is essential. We have an international team of Job Coaches here at the office, who guide the skilled workers as much as possible in their own language.” N2 People has traditionally been strong in Logistics and Production, including drivers, and is steadily growing in the sectors of Technology and Automotive. Flex workers from N2 People have plenty of opportunities to develop through courses and language training. “Order pickers and tire changers can also obtain a forklift certificate or language diploma, for example. The qualification levels of temporary workers vary greatly from country to country. Due to the ongoing labor shortages, it’s necessary to fully focus on skill development.”

“Ensuring a good match between employee and employer”

But it starts with N2 People ensuring that there is a good match between the skilled worker and the employer. “Not only in terms of tasks but also in terms of culture. Our biggest operational task is to make the skilled worker and the client as satisfied as possible, ensuring continuity in the work process. More and more often, our workers are offered permanent contracts. Always a confirmation that we are doing well!”
