From intern to HRM advisor

I am Niels Jonker and I live in Arnhem. In February 2021, I started as a graduation intern in Business Administration at HAN in Arnhem with N2 People in Uden.

After completing my HBO education, I naturally began to look for a job to apply what I had learned. At that time, N2 People was experiencing significant growth and there were plans to set up an HRM unit of which I could become the first employee. I put myself forward as a candidate and was hired on July 1, 2021, for the position of HRM employee to establish the HRM unit; a great and challenging assignment.

Fortunately, N2 People offered me the opportunity for further development in the HRM field. After a phase of exploring educational options, I started the part-time post-bachelor HRM program in Utrecht, which was great as I was supported in this as well.

In the meantime, I have already completed several HRM modules: Pitfalls in Labor Law, HR Development, and I am in the final phase of HR tools. Additionally, I am also taking the course Psychology of Influence with various colleagues from the Communication Foundation.

I can also share that as of March 16, I have been promoted and taken a great career step, now as an HRM advisor within N2 People!
