N2 Facility, sister company of N2 People, is making strides!

As an employer, you need to take good care of your employees. This certainly applies to staffing organizations, according to N2 People. Through its sister company N2 Facility, they ensure good housing and transport for international employees. “We make sure that the client has good employees in the right place,” says Martin van den Munckhof from N2 Facility.

“Employees need to feel at home”

Martin worked for many years in the logistics sector and started last year on an interim basis at N2 Facility. Since April 1, he has been employed permanently as director, also leading the newly established Training Academy Uden. He loves the diverse nature of the work and finds it rewarding to have a positive impact on the well-being of international employees.

“We strive for our people to live in a regular house or a hotel. The location should look nice, and people should feel at home there. That’s what it’s all about.”
The housing market was a major challenge for N2 Facility, especially until last year; the demand for accommodations was much greater than the supply. “This significantly complicated the attraction of labor migrants. Now that the housing market has cooled down, we can add more locations to our offerings. Not only for ourselves but also to rent out to other companies in the staffing industry. We offer them the opportunity to rent beds from us.”

Maintenance and repairs

Currently, N2 Facility has over six hundred beds spread across 70 locations, mainly in Southeast Netherlands. “What is sometimes said is that renting beds is a profit model for staffing agencies; that is absolutely not the case for us. It’s a continuous effort for us to fill those available beds as efficiently as possible.” It’s much more than that: N2 Facility also takes care of maintenance and repairs for the houses and accommodations. “Additionally, we have caretakers employed who visit our locations weekly.” Overall, attracting international employees involves a lot, something that Martin believes is often overlooked. “As N2 Facility, we can relieve the client of that burden.”
