Description

As a Service Technician, you will work alongside a colleague to install, replace, and maintain rubber and plastic conveyor belts and complete conveyor systems. Your assignments take you to various client locations, including industrial companies, amusement parks, ships, and sand extraction sites. You start with a comprehensive 12-week internal training program in Horst to ensure you’re fully prepared to work independently in the field.

On a typical workday, you and your colleague head out to a client site. There, you install or repair conveyor belts, troubleshoot malfunctions, and carry out vulcanization work. The job is physically demanding and occasionally requires working at heights or in challenging environments. Every eight weeks, you’ll be on standby outside regular hours to handle emergency service, so clients can always rely on your expertise.

Requirements

  • MBO working and thinking level
  • Technical insight and hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to learn (12-week internal training and on-the-job coaching)
  • Good command of English and willingness to learn Dutch
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with a colleague
  • Flexible in working hours and locations, available 24/7 during standby shifts
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
  • Own housing required
  • Driver’s license recommended
  • Pre: Experience with conveyor systems or vulcanization

Our offer

  • Gross hourly wage of €18.21 (approx. €580 – €660 per week)
  • Full-time (40-45 hours per week, day shift Mon-Fri 07:30–16:30)
