Description

As a carpenter in this role, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and finishing prefab roof elements and walls in a modern production hall. You ensure that every element meets set quality and safety standards and is ready for transport to the construction site on time. You read technical drawings, set up tools and machines, and gather all necessary materials for your production work.

A typical day involves assembling wooden roof structures according to drawings, mounting prefab components, and adding insulation, foils, and other elements. You perform measurement checks, finish the elements neatly, and ensure correct documentation of quality data. You always work safely and keep your workspace tidy and organized.

Requirements

  • MBO level 2 or 3 in wood technology assembly, carpentry, or similar experience in prefab timber construction or carpentry industry
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of wood materials, prefab constructions, and reading technical drawings
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools
  • English at B1 level and able to read technical drawings
  • Good teamwork skills, quality-focused, precise, flexible, and safety-aware
  • Sense of responsibility and attention to order and cleanliness
