Description

As an Engineering Project Coordinator, you will work on a wide range of metalworking and precision construction projects. You serve as the link between client, engineering, production, and suppliers. You handle the entire pre-production process: from analyzing client requests to overseeing the production phase. You contribute to manufacturability, prepare cost calculations, create or review technical drawings, and coordinate purchasing activities.
A typical day is diverse. You start by reviewing new client requests and translating them into efficient technical solutions. You then consult with colleagues in the office and workshop, prepare quotations, and discuss these with clients. You regularly work on technical drawings in SolidWorks and coordinate with suppliers about materials, lead times, and pricing. You monitor project progress and ensure a smooth handover to production and planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering & Management
• At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or cost calculation in the metal or manufacturing industry
• Experience with SolidWorks or a strong affinity with it
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Skilled in planning, organizing, and working independently
• Team player who takes initiative
• Good command of Dutch and English

• Salary between €3,800 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience
• 38 vacation days based on full-time employment
