As a field service forklift mechanic, you take care of maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections for forklifts and transport equipment at clients’ locations. You work independently with a service van, enjoy plenty of freedom and customer contact, and have many opportunities to develop your skills.

Description

In this role, you are the technical point of contact for clients on site. You perform maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on forklifts and other internal transport equipment. You work independently and make sure the clients’ machines remain safe and reliable.
A typical workday starts at home or at the company, after which you drive a fully equipped service van to customers. You troubleshoot issues, carry out maintenance, replace parts, and advise clients about the use and upkeep of their equipment. Your days are varied: sometimes you handle a major repair, other times a safety inspection or a minor malfunction. You have the freedom to organize your workday and represent the company at the client’s site.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic or in a technical role
• Driver's license B
• Customer-focused, positive, and practical mindset
• Able to work independently
• Good command of the English language

• Salary between €550 and €650 net per week depending on experience (approx. €17.91 to €21.86 per hour)
