Description

In this role as an operator in the packaging department, you are responsible for the entire compost packaging process. You set up the packaging machine, monitor the process, and step in when needed. You also make sure the packages are stacked correctly and transported to the cooling areas using a forklift.
A typical workday starts with gathering packaging materials and setting up the machines. Throughout the day, you monitor progress, handle minor maintenance, and keep the workspace clean. You load trucks, check shipping documents, and work closely with your colleagues to keep things running efficiently. The shift schedule includes three shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Some weekend shifts are included. Prefer to work part-time (32 hours)? That’s possible too.

Requirements

• Valid forklift certificate and preferably a T license
• Experience in a production environment
• Technical insight and interest in transport
• Able to work independently and take responsibility
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Basic knowledge of Dutch or English language
