Key Responsibilities
- Assess the bodywork and panel beating before preparation.
- Sand metal surfaces and apply the first layer of putty.
- Restore the original shapes and lines of repaired parts.
- Sand putty smoothly and accurately.
- Apply and sand filler and primer.
- Mask cars accurately and efficiently before painting.
- Polish painted surfaces to remove imperfections such as sags, dust, and fade out areas.
- Apply sealant in original style.
- Repair bumpers using welding equipment.
- Use all tools correctly and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Work independently while meeting required quality and timing standards.
Candidate Profile
- Driving licence B is preferred.
- English communication is preferred but not required.
- Experience in car preparation or related work is required.
- Able to work independently with precision and consistency.
- Skilled in sanding, shaping, applying putty, and basic repair tasks.
- Physically fit and capable of manual work.
- Reliable, motivated, and focused on quality.
Additional Information
- Contract type: Temporary, with the intention of permanent employment.
- Gross hourly salary: €18.50 – €21.00
- Workhours: Mostly, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00
- Transport: (E )bike, car or own car with compensation; €0.23 per km
- Workplace: Professional car damage repair facility
- Work clothes: Safety shoes (own or provided for €30), work clothes can also be provided
- Workload: Average
