Description

As a Special Trailer Mechanic, you’ll work in a dynamic, innovative environment. You’ll maintain, inspect, overhaul, and repair high-quality, specially designed trailers used worldwide. Your tasks include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues, often in collaboration with skilled colleagues. Your efforts directly impact the quality and safety of these specialized vehicles.
On a typical day, you’ll inspect trailers using detailed reports, perform maintenance per customer specifications, and replace or repair worn or damaged parts. You’ll handle structural repairs, resolve malfunctions both in the workshop and at client sites, and complete administrative tasks. You’ll also discuss your work with customers, train and support colleagues, and contribute to product and process improvements.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience (minimum 4 years) as a mechanic or in a comparable technical role
• Knowledge of or affinity with hydraulics, electrical engineering, and mechanics
• English or Dutch at minimum B1 level
• Valid category B driver’s license
• VCA1 safety certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Solution-oriented, accurate, responsible, and able to work independently
• Customer-friendly and strong communication skills
• Willingness to perform breakdown services and work on location in the future

Our offer

• Gross hourly wage between €18 and €21 (salary range €600–€700 net per week)
• Full-time position (40 hours per week, day shifts)
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
