Description

As a structural metalworker, you'll assemble complete trailers and structural components based on technical drawings. Using modern welding and processing techniques, you help create unique, custom-built trailers for special transport worldwide. Your expertise directly contributes to delivering top-quality end products.
A typical workday starts at 7:30 AM. Together with a colleague, you begin work on a new trailer. Your tasks focus mostly on construction and assembly (70%), with welding components (30%), cutting and grinding materials, and constantly checking measurements and quality. You actively participate in process improvements. Your independence, precision, and team spirit are essential. Every trailer is unique, making every day different.

Requirements

• Minimum vocational education (VMBO) working and thinking level (level 3)
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a structural metalworker
• Able to work independently, accurately, and proactively
• Show initiative and willingness to learn
• Team player with strong communication skills (preferably Dutch)
• Technical insight and ability to read technical drawings
• Affinity with trailers, transport, or automotive is a plus
• Focus on quality and safety
• Willing to complete a trial construction as part of the application process
• English, German, or Dutch language skills are preferred

Our offer

• Gross hourly wage from €17.88 to €19.90 (approx. €550 – €630 net per week)
• Employment conditions in line with the Metal & Technology CLA
